Apple’s recent event in Cupertino, California was jammed with new product announcements, new information about Apple Watch and a hilarious phone call with Stephen Colbert. The event was kicked off by Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook at the company’s campus in Cupertino. Cook was there to let the entire world know that Apple was not yet done with 2014.

The new products Apple released before it closed out the year included the new Apple iPad Air, new iPad mini, new iMac computer and iOS 8. According to Apple, the new gadgets are better than the earlier ones in terms of performance and the features that have been either introduced or improved.

There’s also another few new innovations to get excited about as we head into the new year, namely Apple’s first smartwatches and the new Apple Pay system. First up, the new iMac computer.

New iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus Announced

Apple fans and those looking for an iPhone upgrade will be thrilled to hear that the new larger iPhone 6 models were announced today by the company and are now more than just rumors and speculations. Apple confirmed on 9 September that the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus will be available for pre orders from September 12, 2014. The phones will be sized at 4.7 and 5.50 – inches respectively. In addition, Apple will be unveiling their iOS 8 upgrade next week and a new service called Apple Pay has been revealed, which will be exclusive to the iPhone 6 models, for now. [Read more…]

Acer C720P ChromebookThe Chromebook Acer 720P is a unique class of computing device. It differs from the traditional laptop because it runs on web-based apps and not on traditional PC applications.
