WWE Network on Roku, Apple TV, PS4 & Other Devices

Monday, February 24th, 2014 is indeed a historic day in the calendar of WWE sports entertainment and technology. Just a day after our new Roku User Manual with Private Channels was published online, the World Wresting Entertainment has also launched the long awaited WWE network channel in the United States. The online media streaming channel for pro wrestling’s WWE was first announced back at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Vegas.  WWE has also proposed to launch this service in other countries like United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand later this year or in the beginning of 2015. 

What is the WWE Network channel?

The new network channel is an internet-based subscription video streaming service exclusively owned and operated by the WWE. This network has made an impressive start with an appealing and catchy slogan, “It’s way over the top”. WWE has decided to offer a free one week trial period launch of its network at the WWE.com website starting on Monday, Feb. 24th, 2014. This first ever 24/7 streaming network will feature interactive programs like reality shows, documentaries, news and classic matches including wrestling mania. Besides the regular cable and satellite channels they also offer an extensive collection of videos on demand. All these pay per view events will be available for $9.99 per month subscription, with a six month commitment.  A brand new “Raw Pre-Show” and “Raw Backstage Pass” post-show will be among the new offerings on the first day of launch, with similar programs coming on Friday for SmackDown TV show.

However in order to access and experience the WWE network on your iOS device you will have to install a free WWE app 3.0 or a even higher version by going to the app store. To view all the programs on WWE network you have to sign in to your WWE account and be a WWE regular subscriber also.

2. You can also connect to WWE network on your android device by installing a few app on a device with an android OS 2.3.3 or even higher.

3. You can also watch on Apple TV if you have a second generation or higher apple TV running on iOS 6 or even higher.

4. You can also connect to play station3 or play station 4 on WWE network and enjoy WWE network service.
